ਸਲੋਕੁ ਮਃ ੧ ॥
ਖਤਿਅਹੁ ਜੰਮੇ ਖਤੇ ਕਰਨਿ ਤ ਖਤਿਆ ਵਿਚਿ ਪਾਹਿ ॥
ਧੋਤੇ ਮੂਲਿ ਨ ਉਤਰਹਿ ਜੇ ਸਉ ਧੋਵਣ ਪਾਹਿ ॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਬਖਸੇ ਬਖਸੀਅਹਿ ਨਾਹਿ ਤ ਪਾਹੀ ਪਾਹਿ ॥੧॥
